Well Mrs Clark and I would like to say a very big ‘thank you’ to all of you for making this year one of the best. It has been different to any other that we have ever had but we are looking forward to seeing you learn and grow.
A last celebration before we go…
The P1 Classroom will be archived and class meets will be switched off, however you can still access the activities if you wish but not post anything. 😊
Have a super summer and I will see you all in August!

To celebrate the end of term and the hard work of our amazing pupils and families, Miele’s Ice Cream will be set up in the Heathmount car park (just across from the school) on the last day of term. This has been specially arranged for families and friends in the Crown Community to purchase some lovely treats. Miele’s have also very kindly said that a proportion of the sales made will be donated to Crown Primary School funds.
As a special treat for our P7 leavers, they will be donated an ice cream each. P7s- you must be wearing your leavers hoodies so you can be identified.
Please note that 2m physical distancing must be strictly observed. The school will not be present at this location to supervise, so it is the responsibility of parents and carers to ensure your child’s safety.
You can purchase your treats and support the school at the same time on Thursday 2nd July from 11.30am onwards. P7s will have priority queuing between 11.30-12.00pm.
A massive thank you to Miele’s and the Heathmount for making this happen and helping us end a very different term in a lovely way! We are so grateful for the support from our whole community!

A slightly different week for our last week of the school session 2020!
We are hoping that you will have a fun filled last week. Fingers crossed for good weather.
Here is a slide show that will tell you what the plan is for next week.
Change to our usual ‘meet’ times next week! They will be Monday 12.30pm (Please mute your mic as you arrive so we can hear each other 😊) and Thursday 10.30am. See the PowerPoint for info. Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Well, as we creep closer and closer towards the end of the strangest school term we have ever experienced we cannot help but feel a little sad! BUT not for too long! This week coming we will start thinking about looking back and moving forwards to exciting times ahead.
Here is an overview sharing the learning activities for literacy, numeracy.

June 15th – 21st 2020
Hello everyone
We know how hard it is to stay active in lockdown so we thought we would hold a virtual run next week.
Simply go for a run as much as you can over the next week starting on Monday and record your distances in kilometres You can use tracking watches, Strava or any distance measuring software.
If you need inspirations we have some routes mapped out with distances. Let us know and we can put on the blog.
Only run if it’s safe and social distancing can be maintained.
Once you have completed all runs please upload your results to the link below. You can add photos of run or dressed up as your favourite runner? Make it harder run in fancy dress!
There maybe prizes so do your best, let’s see how far we can get!!! Can we run as far as Edinburgh, London, Paris?

We cannot really think about next week until we have a look at last week’s fun! Thank you everyone for participating, taking photos and sharing your time together.
Wellbeing Week Fun!
We would usually have year group photos during term 4 and we would love to recreate this.
Our plan is to create 2 photo collages for each year group:
We thought this would be a lovely memento for everyone to have as well as keeping our classes as connected as possible during this difficult time.
If you would like your child to be included in their class collage then please upload your photos to this Google Form before 27.05.2020 and we will get started on the collage creations ASAP!
