We are learning the sound ‘ck’ (two letters but only one sound) and ‘g’ this week.
We are continuing to sound out to build words.
Have a go at the Race Around games to practise reading cvc words using the sounds we have learned.
Numeracy
We are learning to recognise coins to £2.
Have a go at sorting and matching coins.

We are learning to retell the story of ‘The Enormous Pumpkin’ with actions and signs.

It is great when the children have so many thoughts about how they would like to learn that it makes it difficult to choose! Thanks Primary 1 for your enthusiasm, your chat and for sharing your ideas.
We have started this term talking about the rights of children. We learned that all children have the right to be healthy, happy, safe and cared for.
We decided to plan ‘A Great Big Pudsey Day’ to support Children in Need in our class on November 15th. We shared lots of ideas about what we can do to help and support children who need our help. More details to follow 🙂
